ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
We accompany customers towards an industrial economy powered by renewable, clean, and biogenic sources.

of CO2 will be reduced by 2023 Vs 2018 Baseline
of CO2 emissions generated from both in Headquarters and Construciton sites
of plastic waste recycled in our plants
of water withdrawn from construction sites
We are committed to being enablers of the energy transition and promoters of the circular economy, providing the market with valuable technological solutions as well as economically sustainable and environmentally effective solutions for decarbonization and circularity. We aim to stimulate the demand for green chemistry technologies and to enable the transition also in our traditional business areas while, at the same time, reducing our own carbon impact.

FIGHTING CLIMATE CHANGE
Our ambition is not only to reduce our carbon footprint but also to provide the international industrial system with a portfolio of technologies capable of enabling the energy transition by supporting our customers in the development of increasingly sustainable and low-carbon-impact plant solutions.
Reduction by 2023 vs baseline 2018 of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 (Business Travel & Commuting only)
Net Zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 by 2030
Net Zero Scope 3 by 2050
Adoption
certification confirms our focus and ongoing efforts to implement an environmental management system at Group level
of CO2 generated from both our headquarters and construction sites (emissions scope 1)
of CO2 generated from both our headquarters and construction sites (emissions scope 2)
of CO2 generated from both business travel and employees commuting (emissions scope 3)
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
On our path towards the energy transition, we are applying our know-how and process experience to green chemistry. Approaching this challenge as a transition enabler, we want to take our identity as transformers of natural resources and apply this in a world that, instead of using hydrocarbons as a starting point, turns to other renewable natural resources, preventing waste and keeping climate-altering emissions to a minimum.
CLIMATE CHANGE & GHG EMISSIONS
We offer a portfolio of enabling technologies to help industrial companies meet their goals for the energy transition, as well as to reduce the carbon footprint of our own activities. Our aim is to achieve carbon neutrality of our direct emissions (Scope 1) and indirect emissions from energy consumption (Scope 2) by 2030 and we are also on track to achieve carbon neutrality for all other indirect emissions along our value chain (Scope 3) by 2050 (the deadline set by the European Union).
NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
We are working to both reduce the environmental impact of production in terms of waste generation by implementing circularity and to develop technological solutions for waste recycling.
ENERGY USE AND EFFICIENCY
We are enabling energy transition by integrating and developing energy-efficient technologies, renewable energy sources, and conservation measures for both ourselves and our clients.
