Guidare l'evoluzione dell'ingegneria verso un futuro più umanistico, rispondendo alle vaste esigenze ambientali e sociali dei nostri tempi e della rivoluzione digitale. L'ingegneria umanistica è la mission della Fondazione Evolve, lanciata dal nostro Gruppo a fine 2021, prendendo spunto da un patrimonio storico di immenso valore.
LA FONDAZIONE MAIRE TECNIMONT
L'ingegneria oggi si trova di fronte a una grande sfida: imparare a conoscere e interpretare scenari che richiedono cambi del paradigma storico, al fine di fornire risposte creative, innovative ed efficaci per abilitare un futuro in cui la crescita economica possa coniugarsi con i bisogni sociali e la tutela delle risorse del nostro pianeta.
L'ingegneria Umanistica
Riuscire in questa sfida richiede una trasformazione dell'ingegneria classica in ingegneria umanistica, capace di sviluppare presupposti che includano aspetti etici, sociali e ambientali ma anche di risolvere problemi sempre più complessi applicando le migliori innovazioni con senso critico e una visione multidimensionale.
Senso critico e intelligenza creativa
Questo rappresenta la spina dorsale e la linfa vitale della leadership italiana nel mondo, una leadership che si basa sull'ingegno unito al senso del bello, che dobbiamo coltivare e saper preservare.
Questa italianità contraddistingue un Gruppo come il nostro, che negli ultimi decenni ha contribuito all'evoluzione globale dell'ingegneria operando in modo visionario. La Fondazione realizza iniziative e progetti educativi in collaborazione con le Università e a beneficio delle comunità locali.

UN ARCHIVIO STORICO
L’archivio storico Maire Tecnimont è un cospicuo e prezioso patrimonio documentario, un unicum nel
panorama degli archivi d’impresa italiani e un’eccezionalità tra quelli delle più importanti compagnie
di ingegneria del mondo, dichiarato di interesse storico dalla Soprintendenza archivistica per il
Piemonte e la Valle d’Aosta. La Fondazione ne curerà la conservazione e il restauro nonché la sua
valorizzazione, promuovendo la conoscenza e la fruizione dei tesori conservati da parte di un pubblico
sempre più vasto.
Attraverso progetti e disegni di grandi infrastrutture industriali e civili è possibile ricostruire la storia
dello sviluppo industriale italiano e la sua assoluta rilevanza e specificità rispetto al panorama
internazionale, firmato dai grandi nomi dell’ingegnerei a e dell’architettura mondiale
La Fondazione cura anche la gestione del caveau digitale, una piattaforma informatica in cui sono stati
digitalizzati circa 20.000 item; questa piattaforma consente una consultazione efficace e rapida dei
materiali, incrociando categorie descrittive, metadati, termini di vocabolario, riferimenti cronologici e
tag.

Promuoviamo corsi integrativi e di orientamento per studenti di istituti tecnici e licei e di approfondimento per studenti universitari con un focus specifico sulle competenze legate al settore dell'ingegneria per la transizione energetica.
"Second Life: everything comes back" is a competition dedicated to the works of young artists, all under the age of twenty-nine, who choose to question their creative vein on the relationship with Sustainability, one of the most important values of our time.
About one hundred Italian artists participated in the contest. A qualified jury, made up of representatives of the main Tuscan cultural institutions, has selected thirty works, exhibited in this traveling exhibition which invites us all to reflect on the importance of our daily gestures for respect for the environment and to give a second life to matter, observing the 4R rule: Reduction, Reuse, Recycle, Recovery.
The "Second Life" project demonstrates how much Italian ingenuity in all its forms, especially the artistic one, holds together vision, culture and intellect at the service of the evolution of society. This spirit is totally in line with the Maire Tecnimont Foundation, which for this reason is pleased to support this initiative aimed at spreading the culture of recycling and the circular economy, so important for the purposes of the ecological transition.
Engineering today is facing a great challenge: interpreting scenarios that require historical paradigm changes, providing creative, innovative and effective answers. Critical sense and creative intelligence represent the backbone and lifeblood of Italian leadership in the world, founded on ingenuity combined with the sense of beauty. "
On July 5th, 2022 our Foundation switched on a debate on circular economy, art and culture themes, seen from different points, enriched by the interventions of Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan, Raffaele Cattaneo, Councilor of Environment and Climate of Lombardy Region, Luciano Fontana, Director of Corriere della Sera, Alberto Irace, CEO of Alia Servizi Ambientali S.p.A, Fabrizio Di Amato, President of Evolve Maire Tecnimont Foundation and Maire Tecnimont Group, as well as art representatives such as Marco Meneguzzo, art history professor at Brera Academy and exhibition curator, the artist Pietro Ruffo and Ilaria Catastini, General Director of the Evolve Foundation.
The discussion took place with the opening of the Milanese stop of the exhibition "Second Life: everything returns", a contest dedicated to young artists’ artworks who choose to question their creative about the sustainability relationship, in which the Foundation has given its support as special partner.

Alternation school-work program "5 steps as an engineer" is an initiative promoted by the Energy Efficiency Information and Training National Program, "Italy in class A", and implemented by ENEA and Maire Tecnimont Foundation partnership.
The project foresees five female students enrolled in the Argan and Farnesina high schools in Rome, ready to board on a journey into the engineering world and, especially, in the energy saving and efficiency division. The girls attend an 80 hours information and training program hosted by the Rome headquarters of the Maire Tecnimont Group and can benefit from the experience and skills of a teaching staff composed of Maire Tecnimont professionals, and researchers and communicators of the ENEA’s Energy Efficiency Unit Department.
Lessons take place according to a transversal and interdisciplinary training method that will bring the five students closer to the acronym STE(A)M, in which the humanistic approach represents a supplementary motivation for change, also considering that a rapidly changing labour market requires increasingly multidisciplinary profiles. The focus on a transversal training, towards a professional profile of "humanist engineer" who knows how to combine technical skills with environmental and social issues, is the midpoint of activities promoted by Maire Tecnimont Foundation, partner of the project. The goal of the project is to clearly respond to the energy transition challenge, following the development with inclusive measures and embracing the targets of the 2030 Agenda, in particular target 5, regarding gender equality.
