Sustainability is a path towards evolution: it springs from the values of a company, comes to life in its processes and generates a concrete impact in the world.

At Maire Tecnimont, in the past several years we have been maximizing our commitment to accelerating the energy transition, digitalization, open innovation and the creation of value for the communities in the areas where we operate, while respecting the environment. At the center are our people, the most important asset for us: their professional growth, their health, their well-being.

In 2021 we wanted to translate all this into a sustainability strategy, inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and intertwined with our industrial strategy and ESG principles. It's really a big challenge. Successfully carrying it out means making joint efforts on several fronts: organizational, technological, and cultural. We have expanded the team dedicated to Sustainability and we are creating internal Task Forces, Working Groups and a Diversity & Inclusion Committee to develop lines of action and projects in four areas. We are also promoting and taking part in multi-stakeholder think tanks and alliances that produce know-how and tools, new minds and ideas for the energy transition.

There are four clusters that guide our entire sustainability strategy: climate and environment; people; innovation that creates economic well-being; communities and territories.
