THE CHEMISTRY OF THE FUTURE STARTS FROM WASTE
Biochemistry allows us to search for molecules in residues from agriculture, vegetables, fats and cellulosics that can be used to replace oil and gas. We have developed technologies to create new molecules from agricultural and forestry waste biomass, waste oils and fats, and from the conversion of waste. These can produce biofuels, intermediates and chemicals.
This is the chemistry of the future, and we are its enablers.
Our subsidiary NextChem is currently studying and designing plants for the production of renewable diesel, second-generation ethanol, as well as circular ethanol, circular methanol, circular hydrogen.
