Milan, 26 November 2020 - Seenergy, the Maire Tecnimont Group’s annual event dedicated to its Supply Chain, at its fourth edition, took place last 24 and 25 November in digital mode. An opportunity of meeting, sharing and networking for the Group’s strategic suppliers, which this year virtually brought together more than 100 top managers from 200 leading companies in their respective sectors, representing altogether more than 900 billion euros in turnover and a workforce of 3 million professionals around the world.     

This year the focus was on Resilience and Innovation. Among the guests, Henry Chesbrough, Faculty Director, Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation UC Berkley-Haas School of Business, and father of open innovation, from California shared his vision on a topic that Maire Tecnimont has firmly embed in his development strategy: just one year ago, at Luiss University in Rome, the first Chair in Open Innovation, sponsored by the Group, was opened. Marco Tonegutti, Managing Director and Senior Partner of Boston Consulting Group made his speech on resilience as a key factor for a global supply chain that must be able to cope with the discontinuities of the present time. 

As every year, Seenergy also wanted to recognize the commitment of the numerous partners of its Supply Chain awarding those companies which have distinguished themselves most in their business category. 
The winners of Seenergy 2020 are: 
Prysmian (Electrical Materials); Coperion (Machinery); Orion (Instrumentation Materials); Commerciale Tubi Acciaio (Mechanical Materials); Curo (Static Equipment); Sinergia (Packages); Wuxi (Sostenibilità). 

In his closing remarks Pierroberto Folgiero, Group Managing Director of Maire Tecnimont commented: “Tecnology and regulation are the fundamental drivers to cross the green industry through innovation. Our goal is to work together with our partners for an highly advanced Supply Chain, able to break down barriers and foster long lasting partnerships so to acquire the necessary flexibility to timely seize the opportunities of green chemistry and energy transition”.
