Faced with the daily groundswell of growing coronavirus infections, we have put all our energy and professionalism to work to help the Piedmont Region open the Alba-Bra Hospital, as crisis center for the coronavirus emergency in Piedmont, in a very short time.
The new hospital complex offers the most modern and innovative technological solutions. The complex is equipped with a modern laser-guided heavy automated transport system (AGV) to transport medical equipment, meals, dishes, sheets from the central warehouses to distribution via freight elevator to the hospital wards located on the various floors. This frees up staff to spend time with patients. The 350-bed hospital is built on an area of 220,000 square meters. Its 110,000 space has 3,200 rooms and 1,020 parking spaces.
Its just-opened Intensive Care Unit welcomed its first Coronavirus patients on March 30, 2020.
