Graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, after Classical Studies, he then took a Master in Business Administration at Bocconi University.
After a brief experience as an Associate in McKinsey, he began his career in the Fiat Group – both in the Automotive and in the Aerospace Companies - holding managerial and executive positions in Organization, Program Management, Production Planning, Strategic Planning and Purchasing.
In 1995 he joined Electrolux as V.P. Purchasing and Global Category Director playing an active role in developing and implementing the Group Worldwide Purchasing Model and Category Management. In 2002 he joined Impregilo as CEO of the Group’s subsidiary in charge of Group Procurement, Logistics and Equipment Management.
In those years he also started the first initiative of the Group in China, driving a joint Company in Shanghai as General Manager and Board Member.
In 2006 he joined Accenture as Executive Partner taking the responsibility over the Supply Chain and Operations Practice first and then launching and leading the Firm’s Management Consulting in the Middle East.
Since 2004 he has been part of the SDA Bocconi Faculty holding Operations Management classes at the International MBA. He is lecturer and author of a number of publications on Supply Chain Management.
Since 2013 he is Member of the Management Team of Maire Tecnimont as Vice President Group Procurement.
