Born in Rome in 1952, he holds a graduate degree cum laude in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rome (1975), is “docteur” at the U.E.R des Sciences Université de Limoges (1984) and has a MSc in Management from the London Business School/University of London (1997).
He is Associate Professor of “Analysis Simulation and Strategy of process engineering” at the Campus Biomedico in Rome. He joined Kinetics Technology International (KTI) in 1980, where he held various positions up to Vice President Innovation Strategy. In 2011 was also appointed CEO of NextChem, Maire Tecnimont’s subsidiary operating in the field of green chemistry and technologies for the Energy Transition. He is a member of American Chemical Society and Vice President of Italian Society of Chemical Engineers (AIDIC).
He has published more than 50 papers, 3 books on membrane reactors for processing industry and on CO2 re-use. He is also author of several patents.
He is currently Innovation Strategy Vice President of KT and Chairman of NextChem.
