In the fertilizer sector, we have developed important E & C ammonia-urea projects all over the world since the 1930s. Since 2009, we have added specific expertise in the licensing of urea technologies with the acquisition of Stamicarbon, a global market leader, to the group know-how. The worldwide numbers are extraordinary: over 250 urea plants have used or are currently using our technology.
We can offer licensing activities, engineering services, equipment purchases, and construction of new fertilizer plants or the revamping of existing structures.
Moreover, thanks to the skills acquired in the systems of ammonia synthesis based on steam reforming of natural gas, we manufacture large-scale methanol plants based on the most reliable and advanced technologies available worldwide.
